A-1 International is founded!

This year, A-1 celebrates our 30th year. Starting with a small office in Union, NJ, performing local delivery services, A-1 has grown into a multi-dimensional transportation and outsourcing company providing logistics, distribution and delivery services as well as back-office outsourcing services on a local and national scale.

From humble beginnings in a one-room office, we now operate in out of nearly 90,000 square feet in four geographic markets. Ron DeSena, president and founder of A-1, is now joined by nearly 300 employees and more than 200 contractors delivering more than 700,000 packages annually managing more than 30 on-site facilities.

Our thanks go out to each of our employees, both past and present, whose daily contributions help to move our company forward.

Of course, we would not be here, enjoying this anniversary and the success that we have achieved, without the support and loyalty of our customers. Without you, we have no reason to exist. We thank you for giving us purpose, for pushing us to exceed your expectations and for rewarding us with your continued patronage.

As we continue to grow, our mission remains the same and our hope is that all of us, employer and employee, vendor and customer, will celebrate many more anniversaries together.
